                                    Lewis Carroll, whose real name is Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, was born on January 27, 1832, in Daresbury, Cheshire, England, and died on January 14, 1898, in Guildford, Surrey. Carroll is known as an English writer, mathematician, logician, Anglican clergyman, and photographer. His most famous work is the children%u2019s book %u201cAlice%u2019s Adventures in Wonderland,%u201d published in 1865. This book is known for its extraordinary characters and imagination.Carroll studied at Christ Church College, Oxford University, where he taught mathematics. During his studies, he had a successful academic career and joined the college%u2019s faculty in 1855. Carroll%u2019s work in mathematics focused on logic and geometry, and he wrote many academic papers and books on these subjects.Under the name Lewis Carroll, he wrote %u201cAlice%u2019s Adventures in Wonderland%u201d and its sequel, %u201cThrough the Looking-Glass.%u201d These books made a big impact in the literary world. They are considered classics of children%u2019s literature and are loved by both children and adults. Carroll%u2019s writing style is rich with wordplay, logic puzzles, and language games.Carroll was also interested in photography and did important work in this field.
